Position Summary: As Growth Manager at The Market at Edgewood, you are responsible to drive growth and customer satisfaction for our catering business.
Responsibilities
MARKET RESEARCH AND GROWTH
— Research marketplace trends, make recommendations and create and implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge across all aspects of THE MARKET catering business - including customer segmentation, menus, pricing and sales
– Identify new growth opportunities to market and sell our Catering offerings around key moments - seasons, market trends, holidays, events
— Drive packaging and sales of new Catering offerings to create demand and increase revenue with new and existing clients
— Upsell catering offerings to maximize revenue per customer, and drive strong customer satisfaction.
— Create and maintain marketing materials and content, including updating website and marketing collateral like flyers, brochures and menus
— Food cost & pricing. Working closely with the Executive Chef, drive ongoing food cost analysis and pricing of offerings to ensure strong profitability and cost effectiveness.
— Identify, implement and maintain new vendor partnerships that complement and strengthen our catering offerings, in order to win more business.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
— Provide excellent end-to-end customer service to clients throughout the sales cycle from initial inquiry to final sale and feedback loop
— Create client proposals with goal of maximizing acceptance rate and revenue, while meeting production and service capacity requirements of the business
— Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders on a timely, professional basis throughout the life cycle of orders, with the goal of delivering excellent execution.
— Support production and service team on an as-needed basis to ensure strong event execution - from high levels of customer service, and timely and quality execution of details
— Provide on-site service for catering events, on an as needed basis
OPERATIONS
— Help direct the administrative and operational aspects of catering services, working closely with General Manager and Executive Chef
— Working with Executive Chef, develop and maintain processes, procedures and documentation to create efficiencies in daily operations of catering business, including production communication, inventory, menus, and pricing and ensure cross-functional team is up to speed through ongoing communication and collaboration with General Manager
— Take inventory of supplies, order supplies, fill out order guides and keep back stock of supplies and storage area organized at all times
— Lead development of Catering offerings and menus for all seasonal and Holiday opportunities, in collaboration with Executive Chef and department leaders.
OTHER
– Act as Supervisor on Duty on the floor

Desired work experience
