DELI TEAM MEMBER

Salary range: $17.80-$20.00

Are you passionate about food, have high-energy and love serving customers? We’re looking for a team member who prepares delicious foods and serves our customers at the deli and prepared foods counter. This includes preparing sandwiches, weighing and packaging prepared foods and deli for sale. You will be part of a team that ensures the food we make tastes great, the signage is accurate, product is rotated and merchandised, work cleanly and maintain the equipment in the department.

What you'll do: Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, weigh, and price prepared foods and deli for sale

  • Maintain product quality, monitoring freshness and ensuring proper rotation

  • Keep displays fresh, well-stocked and with accurate signage

  • Maintain and monitor the use of temperature, production, spoilage, and department transfer logs

  • Serve our customers and help keep them coming back

  • Follow established department opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain a clean and well organized work area

  • Follow procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices

  • Knowledge of proper knife-handling skills

  • Basic proficiency with computer applications and programs including email, Google Drive, and operations related applications
