3 years!

The other day my brother CJ and I were recalling the days right before we opened THE MARKET. We were so nervous ... We hadn't done this before - not at this scale. Expanding to THE MARKET was ten times bigger than our family business at the time. Yes, we were determined and ready to do the work ... But in all honesty, we didn't know if we'd even make it 6 months.

Three years later, thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we're here and we're more committed and energized than ever to keep bringing our customers the best selection of foods and to foster community while doing it.

We know it takes a certain mindset to support independent businesses. Yes, the business works hard - it has to.. but communities work hard too, to support them. It's a 2-way street and sometimes it's winding. We know it means going off the "well worn path" and can even push folks beyond their comfort zones. We know it takes commitment, sharing feedback, patience and consistency. We can only be here with your support.
